EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (Moi University). He holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Moi University and is a member of Certified Public Accountant (CPA K). He is an ISO Certified Internal Auditor (KEBS) and has several years in Business Advisory Services, General Audit, and Assurance. He has experience with international NGOs, especially in the areas of financial management and systems, institutional assessment & capacity building as well as program Management, monitoring and evaluation.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Nzomo has worked in different countries and interacted with people of diverse cultures. He has worked in Kenya, Rwanda and Congo. He has a wealth of experience from different audit firms running over Fifteen years before joining Rhodium Africa Consulting. He started his practice in Athman Errey and Company, Gateway Insurance Company, Mugo Dominic and Company (CPAK) and Alpha Group among other firms.
His experience has stretched from audit firms to the commercial industry and financial institutions where he worked in the insurance, pharmaceutical, and shipping industries for over ten years at the managerial level among others. He was involved in policy preparation and implementation in his previous assignments. He has been involved in tax mitigation and planning for clients, forensic assignments and advisory services for the firm. He is currently in charge of firm growth and quality control, firm strategic planning, training and branding, clients’ project reports for venture capital, investment analysis and company due diligence. He has practiced as an Auditing and Assurance, Taxation and Management consultant since January 2002 with various firms and associates of various established and reputable firms.
His current position among others includes:
- Planning, co-coordinating, monitoring and control of the task.
- Execution of technical aspects of the task.
- Liaison with Tax Authorities to mitigate client’s tax issues on compliance and other taxation matters.
- Coordination of and design of the internal controls for quality assurance for the firms.
- Tax health check for companies and reporting on tax exposures.
- Management Account Reporting.
- Inventory control and variance analysis.
- Strategic advice and direction.
- Client feedback and response.
